No offense, but if you are running a small business, you should really consider Quickbooks or Peachtree. Both will obviously print checks for you.
Also, most check writers require you use pre-printed form checks, from someplace like Nebs, etc.
Try trolling through Microsoft Office templates. I may have seen one there.

Can’t Update Any Virus/spyware Software?

I bought microsoft live one care and after following all the troubleshooting advise, I still cannot get it to install; it says that “installation cannot continue due to network problems” something about how it can’t connect to a network, but I’m online. I took it back to best buy and they said I possibly had a virus on my computer. Well i can’t check because I had to delete the previous software to install the new stuff?! They will scan my computer for free, but will charge me $199 to remove anything they find! I figured I’d try to install a trial version of another antivirus software, run a scan, clean it out, then unistall that and THEN put on my live one care to avoid paying bestbuy what I think is an unreasonable amount for what they would do. I tried to install two different programs, kaspersky first. It installed, but I got the same error message when it tried to connect to the server to update, “network problems are preventing connection” or something like that, but again, I was still online?! I did spybot to look for sypware, it installed, but it immediately went out and looked for updates and there it was again, “can’t connect to the network” so an error box pops up. What can I do to get something on my computer to protect it? Could I have gotten a virus that quickly when I uninstalled norton and tried to install Window’s Live Onecare? My computer runs normally, but obviously something is on there preventing my software from working. Please help!

Business Plan Pro by Palo Alto Software appears to be the best software available. Personally, I had some problems with its lack of flexibility in adjusting format of financial reports, but I had very particular and somewhat unusual needs. I believe it should work just fine for majority of projects. It serves well guiding beginners through a process of writing a biz plan. Whatever it cannot do can be supplemented by MS Office.

I have used programs like adaware se personal, tweaknow regcleaner (free version), jv16 Powertools, and EasyCleaner to clean friends computers, Now they were pretty infected from the start. I even put firewalls and antispyware programs on their computers.The computers were clean as far as the scanning software says. A few days later, they are screwed up again. I have heard the WebRoot SpySweeper is one of the best, but is this what the pros in computer shops use?

I asked a question earlier on today and someone recommended that i use spy-bot - search and destroy however when i try to install it, it tells me connection to server lost and i didn’t just download the file i actually saved it to my laptop and the internet connection is fine. So i researched this on Google and someone said it was due to the malware bytes software? so is this the reason it will not install? Either way can someone please tell me off some other software to be used with this? I also downloaded Free AVG and this tells me to un-install malware bytes before i install it, do i need to do this? will they both not work, if i install them both?? And is Malware Bytes an anti-virus?? im unsure as my friend put it on my laptop. Thanks
