He owns an Auto Wrecking and sells used/new parts he is currently using an old software to keep track of his inventory. Does anyone know of any other more modern software that could help with organizing?

It will be an actual store. I am looking for something that I can use that is easy to keep track of sales, stock, etc?
I’m an antiques dealer, pretty much just starting out. My inventory is one of this and one of that. It is unlikely I’ll ever see the same piece more than once. My financial needs are simple, just track money in and out. I do not invoice at this time, although I may in the future. I am a sole proprietor and work a regular full time job, so don’t need payroll functions. I’d love to incorporate a picture of the item with its sales history.

I saw some software one time that looked like the women was just scanning an item and it pulled up their inventory on a laptop, so I was wondering if anyone knows of that program, or something that might be better.

i looked at quickbooks, peachtree ms solutions etc
many are good but he doesnt really need crm or erp

I have a retail business and inventory is found in a separate distant location. I am really in need of a great program to help me manage my inventory and one that functions with a portable data terminal. I have over 2,000 different items in inventory. I need to buy a software that work really well since I live in Africa and will not have the possibility of returning the product in case of a problem. Thank you very much for suggestions.
